Allen's Shopping Spree Past

British pop star Lily Allen's mom is glad her daughter made it big in the music world, because it meant she wouldn't have to pay for her offspring's wild shopping sprees anymore.

The Smile star would often steal her mother's credit card before her music career took off, and would run up huge bills at luxury London store Harvey Nichols.

She recalls, "I was a bit of a kleptomaniac when I was 18. I went around Harvey Nichols with my mum's credit card.

"I got a $1,755 Marc Jacobs handbag. She made me pay it all back.

"I also put all my parking tickets on my mum's card - $12,675 worth. I had to pay that back too."
