Murphy Considers Stand-Up Return

Hollywood funnyman Eddie Murphy refuses to rule out a return to stand-up comedy, despite once vowing he would never return to telling jokes onstage.
The 45-year-old, who won a Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe award on Monday (January 15, 2007), made his name in the 1980s with his controversial stand-up routine, shown in stage movies Delirious and Raw.
Murphy says, "You know, I've threatened doing stand-up every two or three years. I used to say no, but I can't say I wouldn't do it again now because so much has happened since the last time I did.
"I'm curious to see what it would be like if I got up on the stage, what would come out.
"So much has changed professionally and personally, and the world has changed. I don't rule it out."
