50 Cent's Strange Custody Deal

Rapper 50 Cent has a bizarre deal with the mother of his son - they take turns spending a whole year with nine-year-old Marquise.

Rather than split regular custody of Marquise, each spends a year with him and then hands him over to the other.

50 Cent insists the system works and has helped him develop a strong relationship with his only child.

He says, "My boy is my biggest priority in life. I have an arrangement with his mother that he spends a year with her and then a year with me.

"I'd like to have him with me all the time. He looks and he thinks like me. He heard me creating music before I had money or success, so he feels like he has a superhero for a dad.

"I wouldn't do anything that'd make him feel ashamed."
