Tobey Maguire has hinted next years Spider-Man 3 will not be the webbed superhero's final outing.
The third movie in the hit series will co-star Topher Grace and Thomas Haden Church as villains Venom and Sandman.
Maguire told fans at this weekend's Comic-Con comic book convention in San Diego, California, that Spider-Man 3 would be left "open-ended".
He said, "There will be some conclusions, though I wouldn't say it's necessarily the end."
