Brangelina.com Empire Expands its Web
Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt has only been on this earth a week and already Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's first biological baby has at least three URLs registered under her name and 182 friends on her MySpace.com Web page.
The domain names ShilohNouvelJolie-Pitt.com, ShilohPitt.com and ShilohNouvel.com, along with several other variations, were snatched up by the celebrity Earth Mother through her Los Angeles lawyer May 27, the very day the Hollywood heavyweights celebrated the birth of their daughter in Namibia, according to online records, reports E! News.
Although the Oscar-winning actress's attorney, Evan Spiegel, denied comment on the URLs, it's understood that it is a common practice in his firm, Lavely & Singer.
The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" stars took the same privacy precautions for their two adopted children, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1, in December, just days after Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband announced he was seeking to adopt Jolie's children. MaddoxJolie-Pitt.com and ZarahJolie-Pitt.com were both registered on behalf of the 31-year-old actress.
But the publicity-plagued Brangelina are not the only celebrities seeking the extra security of owning URL sites in their children's names. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline had Lavely & Singer swipe their first child's domain name, SeanPrestonFederline.com from a third party who had pounced on it before the first-time mama.
Similarly, rocker Gwen Stefani had law firm Goldring, Hertz & Lichtenstein snap up at least one URL in her name for her and husband Gavin Rossdale's newborn, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, a day before they announced their boy's birth May 25.
However, none of the URLs for the offspring of Jolie/Pitt, Spears/Federline and/or Stefani/Rossdale actually lead to Web sites. Apparently, that only happens if you don't register your famous baby's URL.
But thanks to the popular networking site MySpace.com, a whole host of hoax profiles in the names of the Brangelina brood can be found along with several claimed to be run by supposed Jolie personal assistant Joe Castalli.
Shiloh Nouvel's MySpace link, www.myspace.com/shilohmessiah, shows snapshots of her pregnant mother and a picture of the hospital where she was born in the Southern African nation. Her interests are listed as "Sleeping, Milk and a nice clean diaper," and according to her profile, the infant would like to meet "God and Oprah."
We're sure the latter would be only too happy to oblige!
