Comments
The Ice Age sequel is still melting hearts in America after taking in a hefty $34.5 million in its second week on release.
Ice Age: The Meltdown crashed into the number one spot on the US box office list last week with a $70.5 million debut and it's easily keeping the competition off the top.
The family film also becomes the first film to cross the $100 million mark.
Rob Schneider and David Spade's bawdy baseball comedy The Benchwarmers has debuted at number two with $20.5 million and Antonio Banderas' new ballroom dance film Take The Lead has entered the box office chart in third place with $12.8 million.
Other top 10 debuts are crime film Lucky Number Slevin at five and Phat Girlz at nine.
