Kutcher Aims to be Katalyst for Web Era

Ashton Kutcher will produce original comedy programs for the Web under a new deal he signed with Katalyst Films and AOL. The "That '70s Show" star tells TMZ.com that he feels just like Lucy. "This is the next wave," Kutcher told the entertainment Web site. "It's like if you got involved in TV when Lucille Ball did, or when Charlie Chaplin started doing films."
Katalyst will produce at least 20 mini-episodes of at least five programs that will be available on AOL.com and throughout the AIM service later this year. But don't expect another "Punk'd." Kutcher's partner Jason Goldberg says the focus will be more on real people rather than celebrities.
