Hollywood beauty Milla Jovovich will return to zombie slaying when she begins filming the third installment in the Resident Evil franchise in April.
The 30-year-old actress will reprise her role as Alice in Resident Evil: Extinction, in which her character has to decrypt a virus threatening the human race.
Highlander film-maker Russell Mulcahy will direct the film.
The first two Resident Evil movies took more than $600 million worldwide.
