Cannon Plans Boxing Movie

Comedian Nick Cannon is to star in his own boxing movie, inspired by watching pal Will Smith portray legendary fighter Muhammad Ali.

Cannon is getting himself in fighting shape for the film, which is currently titled The Hawk.

He says, 'It's a father-and-son story that I wrote. I'm still training, but I don't start filming till next year."

"I always liked boxing. I got into boxing because Will was doing Ali, and I was hanging out on the set with him. I got with the boxing trainer who trained Will for that, and we just kind of came up with the idea."
