Teen queen Hilary Duff is househunting for an apartment in New York City's trendy Chelsea district.
The Sq Yesterday star, 17, brought a huge entourage to accompany her as she toured a loft apartment on West 26th Street on Saturday.
A real estate source tells gossip site PageSix.com, "The super (superintendent) didn't recognize her and wouldn't let her group into the building. Once she got inside, she looked around the place for 25 minutes. Then she asked the super about shopping in the area and left with her broker."
The apartment block has previously housed funnyman Tim Allen and Law + Order: Special Victims Unit star BD Wong.
