Justin Timberlake is in negotiations to play Christina Ricci's boyfriend in a gritty new drama co-starring Samuel L Jackson.
Monster star Ricci and Jackson have already signed on to star in Black Snake Moan, according to Hollywood trade paper Daily Variety.
Jackson will play a God-fearing blues musician who becomes a father figure to Ricci's character.
