Hilton And Richie Monkey Around For Burger King
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have dreamed up a new slogan for fast food giant Burger King - with the help of twin monkeys.
On their reality show The Simple Life: Interns, the best pals travelled down to Florida's Biscayne Bay, where they stayed with monkey-loving Linda Jacobs and her son Ryan, owners of 14-month-old orangutans Pumpkin and Peanut, among others.
And after forging a friendship with the primates, they set out to intern at advertising agency Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, where they were told they had just one day to dream up a marketing campaign for Burger King's new breakfast sandwich The Enormous and present it to the board of directors.
Hilton and Richie went to extremes to research their project - donning false teeth, fake noses and unibrows to anonymously work in a Burger King restaurant and question customers.
But they eventually decided to beat their fellow interns by getting their hairy friends to pose under the slogan: "We evolved. Why not a sandwich?"
Bosses lapped up the idea, and awarded the pair free breakfasts at Burger King for a year.
But animal-loving Hilton wouldn't walk away without causing some trouble - when she left the Jacobs' home, she sneaked a little monkey called Simon into her bag.
