"Odd Girl Out" Premieres On Lifetime

Traditionally when we talk about bullies, the attention is often focused on physical fights, as opposed to the vicious emotional and verbal abuse that occurs more commonly amongst the "fairer sex."

On April 4 at 9pm ET, all of that will change when Lifetime premieres its new movie, Odd Girl Out. It is the story of a teenager, Vanessa (Alexa Vega) whose relative popularity brings on the jealousy of one so-called friend. Lies and public ridicule succeed in eventually turning the entire school against Vanessa with dire consequences.

Odd Girl Out takes an honest approach in bringing this issue to light, and its companion website oddgirlout.tv provides a confidential, open forum for people to talk about their personal experiences with bullies.
