Johnny Depp's Womanly Role
Johnny Depp wants to dress up as a woman and star in cult British TV comedy 'Little Britain'.
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor has asked for a guest spot on the hit show and its creators, David Walliams and Matt Lucas, say they are working frantically to make his dream a reality.
Lucas revealed: "We're looking into it. It would be great if Johnny could appear."
The Hollywood heartthrob has even created a role for himself and reportedly wants to play a friend to Walliams' character Emily - a transvestite dressed in a turn-of-the-century ladies' dress.
A source added: "Johnny would love to appear in the show. His favourite character is Emily and he's hinted that he'd love to play one of her friends. He's made it clear he'd even dress in drag."
Meanwhile, Depp has revealed he based his sinister Willy Wonka character in forthcoming movie 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' on rocker Marilyn Manson.
The star reportedly says he wanted to give the flamboyant factory owner a darker edge and thought Manson was the perfect muse.
A source said: "He has his music and pictures in his trailer to help get in character. He's making Willy far more sinister than before and there's a little of Marilyn in there."
