Ja Rule: Actors' Egos Are Too Big

Rapper Ja Rule has written a new film, but hired someone else to direct and produce it - because he hates working with actors.

The performer - whose new single Wonderful featuring R Kelly is released next month - claims he doesn't possess the patience for the excessive demands of superstars.

He says, "I reckon it's a big job dealing with artists' egos. I don't have patience for that s***. Maybe I can stress the director and be another headache to him."

Of the script, he adds, "It's kinda exciting. It's a racial love story with a music and politics emphasis."
