Mary-Kate Olsen love split

Mary-Kate Olsen has reportedly split from boyfriend David Katzenburg.

The pretty actress, who shot to fame with twin sister Ashley on hit TV show 'Full House', is said to have ended her nine-month relationship with the 21-year-old student to concentrate on her studies and social life at New York University, according to America's People magazine.

The 18-year-old star started at the university earlier this week, along with Ashley, and friends say she is keen to be single so she can enjoy all aspects of student life.

Mary-Kate and David, who began dating last December, were also said to be concerned about the time they would have to spend apart, as David is a student at Boston University, which is a few hours drive from New York.

During their relationship, David helped support Mary-Kate through the treatment she received for her reported eating disorder and was a frequent visitor at the Utah clinic during her six-week stay.

It was recently reported that Mary-Kate had been spotted getting close to a mystery man, known only as Ollie, who is a good friend of Ashley's rumoured boyfriend, Scott Sartiano.

However, rumours of both romances were quickly denied by the twins' spokesperson.
