Chad Michael Murray Seeking Career-sparking Nurse

Freaky Friday star Chad Michael Murray is desperately searching for the nurse who treated him when he was a sick teen - to thank her for motivating him to embark on his showbiz career.

The 22-year-old Hollywood heart-throb spent a number of months in hospital in his native New York when he was just 15, after a football injury left him needing his small intestine removed.

But while he was undergoing treatment, the nurse who provided much of his care gave him some fateful advice.

He recalls, "My nurse was a model, which is kind of every boy's dream, I guess! She basically just said, 'You should get into modelling,' and I said, 'I don't wanna model. I wanna act. That's really what I wanna do. I love it.' She goes, 'Well, you can segue way.'

"So I took her advice and I picked up and moved out to LA after I graduated." But Murray has yet to personally thank her for his success.

He explains, "I went back and I took her chocolates and candy and stuff and she was gone. She moved on to another hospital."
