Hilary Duff gets spot on new sports show

Pop singer and actress Hilary Duff has been hired to host her own weekly baseball segment on a new cable sports show called "Kids on Deck."
"She's one of the largest teen icons in entertainment," YES Network executive producer John Filippelli told the New York Post. "She's huge, and we're trying to woo a teen audience."
Filipelli compared the show to the 1980s kids' Saturday morning sports series, "The Baseball Bunch," or the 1950s children's show, "Let's Take a Trip!"
Duff will explain baseball jargon and terminology in the segment "Hilary's Hits," The Post said.
