Depp's Premiere Earache

Johnny Depp was forced to miss the premiere of his latest film due to an ear infection.

The Hollywood heartthrob, who now lives in France with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their two children, could not fly to New York because he feared the infection would be too painful.

Film bosses had even moved the premiere of 'Secret Window' from Los Angeles to New York so it would be easier for Johnny to get there from France.

Johnny recently admitted he wants to make a film with his French partner, Vanessa.

He said: "People have offered us stuff and it would be great to do something with her. The whole family could go to work together."

Johnny and Vanessa, who starred in the French film 'Elisa', have two children together, Jack and Lily Rose.
