Trya Yellow Ribbon Around 'Top Model'

Supermodel Tyra Banks will make her singing debut next week - in a music video filmed with contestants from her reality series, "America's Next Top Model."

"I've been singing for about six years, secretly, because I feel like people are going to think I'm a dumb model if I start talking about it and have nothing to play or show," she told the Los Angeles Times.

"But this has been a passion of mine." The episode will air Feb. 24.

Models have long been a staple of pop music videos - so the episode seems a natural for the young contestants on the model wanna-be series that Banks hosts and produces. Still, Banks says putting herself out there as a singer is a big leap.

"It's not a Milli Vanilli situation," she laughs. "I can really sing."
