Friends To Be Replaced By Siegfried + Roy's Cats?
Hit TV sitcom Friends will have an unexpected replacement when it comes to an end in May - an animated series based on illusionist duo Siegfried and Roy's tigers.
Father of the Pride, about a family of tigers that performs with Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn, is reportedly the hottest candidate to replace the long-running comedy.
If the show grabs the coveted Thursday evening spot, it would be primetime TV's first computer-generated show.
Father of the Pride, to be made by the same team behind animated movie hit Shrek, will feature the voices of John Goodman, Cheryl Hines and Carl Reiner, among others.
There were reportedly doubts about the series' future before it even went into production, after Horn was savagely attacked by one of his large cats during a live show. But now he's recovering, bosses are pressing ahead with the new comedy.
