Ben Affleck paid $5,000 to sit down with the world's top card sharks at the recent World Poker Tournament - and lost with a pair of aces.
According to Daily Variety columnist Army Archerd, the movie star and wannabe gambler lost out to casino owner Bob Stupak, who put down three fours, trouncing Affleck, who bet $1,000 on two pairs - one of aces.
Stupak had no idea who Affleck was, but figured his competition in the first round was someone big, judging by the interest buzzing around him.
