Timberlake Celebrates MTV Wins With Show
Justin Timberlake celebrated his three wins at the MTV Video Music Awards not with a party, but a concert.
Timberlake performed at the Roseland club in midtown Manhattan early Friday morning for hundreds of eager fans, a few hours after the VMA show ended at Radio City Music Hall.
"Did y'all get a chance to watch the Video Music Awards?" Timberlake asked as the crowd roared.
The performance was a hot ticket - among the celebrities in the house were Natalie Portman and Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.
Timberlake even had star power in his band - Grammy winner John Mayer played guitar as the singer performed hits such as "Senorita." And producer Timbaland got on stage when Timberlake did a saucy version of his hit "Cry Me a River."
Timberlake's concert was just one of several high-profile events going on after the 20th annual awards show. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs gave an after-party, but police blocked off the street about an hour after it started and wouldn't let anyone else into the event.
Missy Elliott celebrated her two wins, including video of the year for "Work It," at Blender magazine's after-party.
