Affleck Thanks Kutcher And Farrell For Taking Over

Ben Affleck was hoping Daredevil co-star Colin Farrell would stretch out his one-night stand with Britney Spears - because it deflected attention from his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

The movie star is grateful to Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore for taking over from him and J.LO as the new in vogue couple in Hollywood, but he suspected it would be Colin and Britney.

He says, "I was hoping Colin could have stretched it out with Britney Spears a little longer, but it wasn't to be.

"I'm elated about Ashton and Demi. I'm trying to drum that up. I'm constantly calling the tabloids up and saying, 'Have you guys heard about Kirk Douglas and Mandy Moore?"

J.Lo agrees, "It was good when they started taking over. It was a nice needed break for us."
