Maguire Promises Big Things For Spidey 2

Hollywood hunk Tobey Maguire has promised comic fans the sequel to Spiderman will be even better than the original.

The 28-year-old pin up, who played the web-slinger and his alter-ego Peter Parker in the 2002 smash movie, has revealed that filming is almost complete on the second installment of the series.

He says, "I'm really happy with it. It's going to be better than the first one. The story is a lot better,"

Though Maguire refuses to give away details of the plot, it is known that the forthcoming action flick will see Parker attend Empire State University, while DR. Octopus and the Lizard plot his downfall.

Movie bosses that Maguire's recurrent back problem would prevent him from fulfilling his commitments on the web- slinging flick, and although he admits there were some "concerns" and "questioning" by the filmmakers, the actor always knew he'd be back.

He added, "I didn't have any doubts."
