Kutcher And Moore's Romance Questioned

Ashton Kutcher's fledging romance with Demi Moore has been called into question by critics who suspect it's nothing but a publicity stunt.

Kutcher, 25, and 40-year-old Moore have been at the centre of America's media attention in recent weeks since they were spotted in various hot-spots in New York, Hollywood and the Bahamas.

But veteran gossip columnist Liz Smith questions the timing of the romance, which coincides with the release of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, in which Moore has a small role.

She says, "Is it really a delightful fling, or is it one of the most masterfully engineered returns to the public spotlight we've ever witnessed? The whole thing might even more accurately be described as The Hijacking of Charlie's Angels.

"Could the brilliant young producer Drew Barrymore have anticipated that Demi Moore, who has about 25 minutes of screen time in this film, was going to emerge as the star of the movie?"
