Hudson's Pregnancy Prompts Movie Discussions
While actress Kate Hudson has declared herself "ecstatic"at the prospect of giving birth to her first child, her pregnancy has left one of her movies up in the air.
The Almost Famous star, who recently announced that she and rocker husband Chris Robinson will become parents early next year, has signed up to begin production on Universal's The Skeleton Key later this year.
But her announcement has prompted discussions about whether to reschedule the shoot or go on without her.
Hudson, daughter of evergreen actress Goldie Hawn, was poised to play a kindly hospice worker who moves into an old Louisiana mansion on the invitation of a dying patient, only to face supernatural manipulation by the house's former inhabitants, who practiced voodoo a century earlier.
Her move into a more frightening world would have earned her $7 million.
