Lavigne Contradicts Herself

Teen rocker Avril Lavigne swears she would never date anyone in her band - even though her secret romance with guitarist Jesse Colburn has just been exposed.

Lavigne and her beau were snapped on a beach in Australia, and it has since been revealed the musical pair have been dating on-and-off for a year-and-a-half.

But in a recent interview, the Canadian hitmaker ruled out the prospect of getting intimate with any of her tour mates.

She says, "I can't seem to meet anyone! After a show, I just get on a bus and go off to play another gig. And the guys in my band don't see that in me anyway. I'm just like one of them."
