Jim Carrey has hit out at Hollywood bosses for cashing in on the success of his 1994 comedy hit Dumb and Dumber and making a prequel.
Carrey and co-star Jeff Daniels reportedly refused to appear in the new movie Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, set when the two hapless characters meet at high school - so relative unknowns were cast.
But Canadian Carrey, who has become a Hollywood A-lister since making the 1994 movie - accuses studio New Line of milking the success of the original.
Speaking on DJ Howard Stern's radio show early this week, Carrey said, "I picture a big fat executive with a whole loaf of white bread sopping up the gravy I left behind."
