Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker has become the latest actor to reject the role of Superman.
The hunky star pulled out of negotiations leaving The Mummy hunk Brendan Fraser and The Guiding Light soap star Matthew Bomer to fight it out.
A source says, "He has decided to focus his time on supporting the films he already has in the can: Timeline and The Fast and The Furious 2, the latter of which includes a month-long worldwide publicity campaign."
The casting process for the trilogy of movies has been beset by problems from the outset.
Josh Hartnett, Jude Law and Ashton Kutcher all rejected it because of the seven-year, three film commitment involved.
