Kate Hudson's Unglamorous Film Set Trips

How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days star Kate Hudson never regarded movie sets as glamorous places when she was growing up - because she always had to work whenever she visited her parents during filming.

The blonde beauty, 23, says that when her mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell would take her and brothers Oliver and Wyatt on film sets, they were never allowed to sit around - they had to help out.

Hudson recalls, "When we were kids on set, my parents treated it and made us treat it with a lot of respect.

"My parents were at work. They weren't doing anything spectacular; they were working. So, when we were on set, we had to be working if we were going to come to set.

"So we were either working in a wardrobe trailer or we worked at a camera truck or we'd get people coffee or tea, and we learned the other aspect of it, which is that it is work."
