Kelly Afraid of Terrorists

Teen rocker Kelly Osbourne may seem like a fearless female - but she has pulled out of a music award ceremony in London because she's afraid of a terrorist attack.

The Shut Up! singer was due to appear at the rock'n'roll NME Carling Awards on the 13th but refused to get on a plane in Los Angeles as she fears an Al-Qa'ida strike.

A source tells British tabloid The Sun, "Kelly couldn't bring herself to get on that plane in LA. She thinks the risks are just too big at the moment.

"It's such a shame as she was really looking forward to the gig."

A spokesperson for the raucous awards ceremony says, "We are very sad Kelly can't come. But someone else very special will be performing in her place."
