Affleck In It For The Long Haul

Movie heart throb Ben Affleck is astonished that some people believe his relationship with Jennifer Lopez is merely a publicity stunt to whip up interest in their forthcoming films - as they're both months away from release.

The Daredevil star acts with his new squeeze Lopez in both Gigli and Jersey Girl and insists their relationship is for real.

He says, "To think it's a publicity stunt...c'mon. I mean, if it was, it'd be bad timing. You'd want to get all that press when either Gigli or Jersey Girl was coming out, not months away from release.

"Besides, movies fronted by people who are married haven't done so well historically.

"It may take a minimum ten years of marriage and a couple of kids, but sooner or later, people will get that we're in love."
