American Idol Winner Set To Wed Runner-up?

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and runner-up Justin Guarini are set to wed in a lavish $1 million ceremony.

According to tabloid the Star, the singers fell in love while touring and then filming their new movie From Justin to Kelly: The Rise of Two American Idols, which is due to hit cinema screens in April.

A source says, "It's incredible, but Justin and Kelly are planning to get married. Since the end of Idol on TV, they've spent so much time together and they've fallen in love."

But Kelly, 20, and 24-year-old Justin aren't the only ones pleased with the news - bosses of the show are elated.

A source explains, "This romance is a dream come true for Fox producers. American Idol is hot, hot, hot - and word that Kelly and Justin are romantically involved and considering marriage has producers rubbing their hands with delight.

"The execs have been doing everything they can to encourage the romance, and the buzz is they are talking about footing the bill for a $1 million wedding if Kelly and Justin agree to have it filmed for a two-hour TV special."
