Angelina Reconciles With Voight

Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie has been spotted in the company of her estranged father Jon Voight prompting reports of a reconciliation between the feuding relatives.

British tabloid The Daily Star reports Jolie, who adopted her Cambodian son Maddox last year, met her Midnight Cowboy star father at London's exclusive Dorchester Hotel last week.

One onlooker says, "Jon was in the bar having a drink. He was waiting for Angelina and when she came in they took a table in the corner and chatted away.

"They all seemed to be getting along pretty well and there were no signs of any aggro between them."

According to the source Jolie spent several hours with her father before they went their separate ways. A reported rift emerged between the pair last year shortly after Jolie started divorce proceedings against husband Billy Bob Thornton.

Also, her new found role as a UN peacekeeping ambassador took her away from the glitz of Hollywood to the poverty-stricken Cambodia where she first saw her adopted son.

A family friend says, "Hollywood seemed like such a shallow and trivial place after the pain and suffering she witnessed. She felt no-one, not Billy Bob, not her father, nor her close friends, could understand the horrors she experienced during those trips."
