Work Offers Flood In For Winona

She may be in the middle of an ugly court case, but Winona Ryder's profile has improved dramatically since her arrest.

The actress, who is being tried for allegedly shoplifting in Saks Fifth Avenue store, has received many work offers in the last year and now has choices to make about her next project.

Movie critic George Rush says, "It's an open secret that Winona has been offered several movie scripts over the past few months. As far as producers are concerned, she is golden right now."

The star's agent agrees with Rush.

She says, "Yes, I can tell you we have been getting a steady stream of offers. Of course, it's been a pretty traumatic personal time for Winona, but on a work level things are looking very good indeed."
