'Potter' Ponders Role

Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy magician in the screen version of "Harry Potter," says he doesn't know whether he'll continue in the role beyond the third movie. "Every film takes 10 or 11 months to do, so I won't encounter that decision for quite a while yet," the 13-year-old actor said. "I'm just concentrating on the third one for now."

The second film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," opens on Nov. 15. Radcliffe's 14-year-old co-star Rupert Grint, who plays Harry's sidekick Ron Weasley, said he plans to stick with the franchise. The boys and 12-year-old Emma Watson, who plays friend Hermione Granger, are signed through the third installment, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," set for release in 2004.
