Christensen's Karaoke Fun

If you find yourself at a karaoke bar and hear a girl belting out a jazzy rendition of "Oh! Darling," it might be Erika Christensen. The actress, who recently turned 20, just loves karaoke, and the Beatles tune is one of her favorites.

"I also like to sing songs that are really inappropriate for me--anything by the Beastie Boys," the actress admits with a giggle.

Last summer, while making the teen thriller "Swimfan" in New York, Christensen and co-stars Jesse Bradford ("Clockstoppers")and Shiri Appleby ("Roswell") would hit New York's karaoke bars to let off steam after work.

"I think I stand out because I get onstage so much and because I love it up there," she says giddily. "I'll sing five songs in a night if they'll let me. I remember singing karaoke on a Monday night then going to a club on Wednesday and people were coming up to me and saying, 'Hey, you're the karaoke girl.' I couldn't believe it."
