Bass to Release New Movie

Lance Bass will get to travel into space after all - when he stars as an alien in a new movie.

The singer, whose bid to become an astronaut with the Russian Space Agency is as yet uncertain, will appear in a new musical film tentatively called "Nose Pickers From Outer Space."

Bass's own production company has bought the rights to the book of the same name and they are planning to turn it into a film using live actors as well as computer generated images.

The book is about an alien who attempts to save earth from destruction by impersonating a school student.

Bass, whose debut as an actor in "On the Line" was not well-received by critics, will play one of the Nose Pickers, an alien race who carry computers in their noses.
