Lance Bass is Back in Russia

In a story that's becoming somewhat of a saga, Lance Bass is back in Russia starting a new training session in a bid to visit the International Space Station.

According to the Associated Press, Bass will not be joining the October mission but wants to continue training anyway. Officials in the Russian Space Program decided last Saturday to permit Bass to resume training.

Lance Bass had hoped to secure a spot on an October 28th mission to the Space Station but had to give up his seat when his sponsors couldn't come up with the $20 million fare.

Russian space agency spokesman Sergei Gorbunov has stressed that Lance Bass is not training for the October flight or any other particular space mission at this time.
