J.Lo's Dress Distress

Jennifer Lopez had to wear a regular off-the-peg dress to the MTV Video Music Awards after her $9,000 beaded gown was delivered late.

The limo that was carrying the expensive dress got stuck in traffic, leaving the entertainer without a head-turning outfit to take to the awards show. The problem was resolved by J.Lo's friend - also going to the event - who offered to swap dresses so the star wouldn't be late.

So whilst J.Lo was made to look like an ordinary starlet, her friend was delighted to wear the original dress and become a Hollywood princess for the evening.
