Natalie Imbruglia says she wore her own clothes for the video of her hit single "Torn" and has never followed fashion.

The 27-year-old singer's record label wanted to create an image for her but instead she wore her own cargo pants and a T-shirt.

She says, "My style's always changing. I've never really followed fashion - I've always looked out for clothes that are a little bit different."

"I like looking funky rather than classic, and I prefer to wear casual clothes yet still look smart."

"I love wearing jeans and mixing them with designer tops or with something vintage."
