And she's even prepared to drop her Aussie accent to help boost her chances of winning roles. Nat says, "I'm having meetings with casting agents and taking dialect classes so I can speak with an American accent."
"I love being in Hollywood. Acting is obviously something I did in the past but I want to take it to the next level."
"I am enjoying learning again and I want people to know that I'm available for films because I wasn't when I was doing my music."
The multitalented star gave up her acting career in the nineties to concentrate on music - but after conquering the charts, Natalie says she now feels she has the energy to juggle the two jobs.
She adds, "I always wanted to do film but when I started to write songs and that was successful I didn't feel ready to tackle two careers. It takes a lot of energy and focus to be good at one. To have the two is great and to be in a position to do that is really exciting."
