Verne Troyer's Emergency Operation

Autin Powers star Verne Troyer was taken to a Los Angeles hospital in late August to undergo an operation to remove his appendix.

His manager Elena Bertagnolli says, "Verne was at my house that day, and he started not feeling well at all ... So I drive him to the hospital and, sure enough, the doctors decided it was necessary to take his appendix out."

Troyer, 33, had surgery that afternoon and spent the next five days recuperating in hospital. Bertagnolli adds, "The doctors say he's doing fine."
