Holmes On Playing The Bad Girl

Katie Holmes enjoyed playing the bad girl in Sam Raimi's thriller "the Gift" - because she's always been so good on screen.

The 23-year-old actress was required to play a sultry temptress in the movie, which co-starred Cate Blanchett and Keanu Reeves.

Holmes says, "It was weird to play somebody who first of all does sleep around, and somehow is okay with that."

"I think that was a lot harder than getting physically hurt. it felt very real. I got thrown up against the car and had bruises. I am so reserved, and I usually just repress it, so it was really fun to get a lot of that out."
