Bow Wow's Electrifying Film

Teenage rapper Lil Bow Wow's new movie "Like Mike" has been slammed by safety officials for a scene in which his character retrieves a pair of sneakers from a power line in the middle of a storm.

Authorities at Los Angeles' Pacific Gas and Electric Co (PG&E) claim the scene depicts an action that is extremely dangerous - and they worry kids might follow Bow Wow's actions.

PG&E spokesman Jason Alderman says, "These are high-voltage power lines and a little kid doesn't stand a chance. We ask parents to please tell their children not to throw their shoes up there and try to retrieve them."

However, a spokesman for the movie says, "Like Mike is a fantasy about magic shoes. The scene is clearly not meant to be real or represent current behaviour."
