Christina Ricci's Movie Hell
Comments
She may have a glittering Hollywood career, but Christina Ricci insists making movies isn't always a fun experience.
The 22-year-old actress - who got her big break as a child star in the 1990 comedy "Mermaids", and has gone on to win adult roles in "Sleepy Hollow" and "Prozac Nation" - says dark and depressing movies leave her miserable.
Ricci says, "When I made Prozac Nation, in which I play the manic depressive Elizabeth Wurtzel, the filming was incredibly draining.
"During the entire shoot, which ran for eight weeks, there were only five days when I was not being filmed weeping. It was total hell."
