Natalie Imbruglia's L'Oreal Deal

Australian beauty Natalie Imbruglia is overjoyed after becoming the new face of cosmetics firm L'Oreal. The actress and singer says she's overwhelmed because she knows how carefully the company picks its representatives.

She says, "I'm really honoured. It's really prestigious. I didn't realise how much I wanted it until I had been to a few meetings. The closer I got the more I was thinking, 'Oh, gosh, what if it doesn't happen?'

"L'Oreal's very personality based. Even though they're about selling products, they choose carefully. They're about career people with personality."
