Jessica Alba in Movie Negotiations

After a couple years on the TV screen in the cancelled sci-fi series "Dark Angel," Jessica Alba is ready to move on to movies. According to Zap2it.com, Alba is in negotiations to appear in her first feature-film starring role. Titled "Honey," the movie centers on a tough inner city girl whose dream is to start a dance school. However, fate enters and the girl moves on to become a successful music-video choreographer whose career is soon threatened by the very man who gave her a break.

Alba has worked on the big screen before. She was in "Never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore and "Idle Hands" with Devon Sawa. "Honey" is in pre-production.
