Gellar & Prinze Jr. Frustrated With Wedding Questions

Sarah Michelle Gellar and fiancee Freddie Prinze Jr. are frustrated after actor Matthew Lillard told the press the couple have wed in secret.

In a press junket on Monday, June 3rd, Lillard told reporters, "There's nothing better than working for six months with people who are happy and in love and so that was a real treat. They're kind of glowing and newlyweds and that's fun."

But it seems the actor's "newlywed" comment is premature - even though the irritated couple initially joked about his gaffe.

In an interview following his pal's comments, Prinze JR said, "It's December 3, this big church and everyone's invited. Bring your kids."

And when Gellar was asked if she and her fiance were already married, she sighed and fired back, "Are we? Are we?"

The actress' publicist has since confirmed that Lillard was "just goofing about."
